After a tough day sunning yourself at Port Macquarie’s Flynns Beach, surfing at Lighthouse Beach, fishing on the Hastings River or walking one of the Bago National Park trails, we’re ready to help you unwind. We have cold beers on tap and our chefs are on-hand to sort you out with a healthy or substantial meal – you choose.
Bago Tavern is as far away from a faceless, lifeless, generic-looking pub as you can get. The custom-designed, round-roof dining room (complete with stained glass windows) is just one way we set ourselves apart. Our 15ft giraffe out front is the other.
Whether you found us because of Jerry the giraffe, you’re local, here on your holidays or simply passing through, we assure you a warm welcome. Put your order in with our friendly bar and restaurant staff and settle into an area of the tavern that suits you.
Maybe you are a parent/s with little people in tow and would love a safe enclose playground then check out the covered outdoor area or the beer garden overlooking the kids’ playground – they can go crazy out in the Bago Tavern enclosed playground and not get in any trouble, so you can relax.
